WORKING PRINCIPLE
Hydrocyclone works based on centrifugal sedimentation. Two-phase (or three-phase) mixed liquid fed under certain pressure generates strong three-dimensional elliptical rotational motion. Due to particle density differences, centrifugal force, centripetal buoyancy and drag force vary. Most coarse particles (or heavy phase) discharge through underflow outlet, while fine particles (or light phase) through overflow pipe, achieving effective separation.
