General Introduction
Wet Drum Separator separates magnetic materials from non-magnetic ones with the help of magnetic force, so as to enhance the purity of materials and improve the quality of mineral concentrates.

Tank Design and Illustration
There are three tank designs: Concurrent Tank, Counter-current (Steffenson) Tank and Counter-rotation Tank. Material enters the trough tank from the feed box, and will be attracted onto the surface of the magnetic drum when it's passing through the separation area. Then it will be transported by the rotating drum to the concentrate discharge outlet for unloading, while the non-magnetics and the weak magnetics are discharged through the tailing outlet of the trough tank.
