General Introduction
Jig Concentrators are gravity concentration apparatuses used in mineral processing for washing, concentrating, separating and recovering coarse metals and minerals from ore, based on specific gravity across selected screen mesh.
Due to high specific gravity differential enabling good recovery, they are widely adopted for recovering various metals and minerals.
Jig Concentrators accommodate fluctuations in ore grades, tonnage rates and dilution without impacting recovery, making them crucial in mineral recovery.
Advantages
- Low water consumption compared to most centrifugal concentrators.
- High recovery rate (0.5% to 30% concentrate), increasing overall recovery.
- Wide feed and particle size range (up to 30mm), reducing prescreening needs, enhancing gravity recovery and avoiding excessive grinding.
- Efficient with low operating costs and water consumption.
